About the Course

Our intensive Chemistry Paper 1 revision course runs from 9:30am – 3:30pm (with regular breaks throughout the day) and is designed to give students the confidence, knowledge, and exam technique they need to succeed in their GCSE Chemistry paper 1 exam.

Who Is This Course For?

This course is ideal for Year 10 and Year 11 students studying Combined Science (Trilogy) or Separate Science (Chemistry ). All content is tailored to match the Physics Paper 1 specification, with guidance for both tiers of entry.

Topics Covered:

We will review and practise all Paper 1 content, including:

• Atomic Structure and the Periodic Table

• Bonding, Structure, and the Properties of Matter

• Quantitative Chemistry

• Chemical Changes

• Energy Changes

Students will:

• Revise key knowledge with clear, structured teaching.

• ⁠Practise exam-style questions to strengthen technique and timing.

• Revisit required practicals with step-by-step explanations and exam application.

• Develop exam skills to maximise marks and avoid common pitfalls.

By the end of the day, students will leave with stronger knowledge, improved confidence, and a clear strategy for tackling Paper 1.
